The Diary game. A Day of Care: Bonding, Treats, and Farewells

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

Since I was staying at my aunt’s house, we stayed up quite late and I couldn’t wake up early in the morning as I hadn’t slept well through the night. The real reason was that being far from home made it difficult for me to sleep. However, I eventually managed to fall asleep in the latter part of the night, which is why I couldn’t wake up early. I woke up a bit late, took a bath, performed my prayers, and then had breakfast.

While I was having breakfast, news came to my aunt’s house that one of their neighbors had passed away. I couldn’t go there myself, but I gave them my car, and they used it to go and pay their condolences. The deceased was one of their neighbors who had since moved to another place.

While they were away paying their condolences, I decided to play cricket with one of my younger cousins. We played for quite a while, and by the time it was 12:30 PM, they had returned from the condolence visit. Around 12:30 or 12:45 PM, I tried to leave for home, but they didn’t let me go and insisted I stay for lunch.

After lunch, we sat together for a while in their hammam, which was warm. Since it’s quite cold here in Kashmir, we stayed there and had long conversations. Finally, at around 3 PM, we left for home.

I tried to leave for home, but my cousin didn’t let me go and started crying, which made me stay longer. To calm him down, I first took him out for a stroll and then bought him some biscuits, chocolates, and a few other things. When we returned to their house, he eventually fell asleep. Once he was asleep, I left for home.

I reached home around 4 PM. Since it was quite cold, I first warmed myself up and then headed to my grandmother’s house. These days, my grandmother lives alone because my uncle recently moved out of the joint family to live separately. This change has been difficult for my grandmother as she is used to the presence of people around her, having always lived in a joint family.

I stayed at my grandmother’s house until the evening and then returned home. Upon reaching home, I watched some TV, did a bit of studying, and after dinner, I finished some pending office work online. Only after completing that, I went to bed. That’s how I ended my day.
