I'm so tired of hearing the herd immunity fairytale. It's repeated all the time like a broken record. It might have been believable decades ago when they still claimed vaccines provided lifelong protection. But that lie just couldn't be pushed on people any more once vaccinated people started falling ill. And with it the herd immunity construct fell apart as well. I'm really impressed how they've managed to keep the masses on track.
As for Trump's decision... we'll see how it goes. I guess it will last as long as he does.
