Receta de Tata: Torta de pan con frutas/Tata Recipe: Bread Cake with Fruit
Today I share with you a recipe from the Book of "Tata Recipes", it is a cookbook written by hand by my mother, which contains the best secrets of the recipes she made herself.
Torta de Pan con frutas/Bread Cake with Fruit
Ingredientes
3 tazas o 300 grs de Pan viejo( Resto de pan)
100 grs de Papelón rayado
5 huevos medianos
1 1/2 cucharadita de esencia de vainilla
500 ml de leche
1 taza de azúcar morena
1 cucharada grande polvo de hornear
90 grs de mantequilla sin sal o 30 ml de aceite
100 grs de frutas variadas
1 limón
1 taza de vino tinto
Ingredients

5 medium eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla essence
500 ml of milk
1 cup of brown sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
90 grs of unsalted butter or 30 ml of oil
100 grams of fruit
1 lemon
1 cup of red wine
Caramelo
500 ml de agua
1 1/2 taza de azucar
2 cucharada de Harina de trigo
1 naranja
Candy
500 ml water
1 1/2 cups of sugar
2 tablespoons of wheat flour
1 orange

Preparación del bizcocho
Se procede a triturar el pan con la leche y luego se le va agregando el resto de los ingredientes líquidos.
Se mezclan muy todos los ingredientes por 15 minutos hasta que se forme una mezcla homogenea y consistente.
Lo último que le colocamos es la rayadura de limón y se mezcla un par de minutos más.
Luego se prepara el molde para hornear previamente harinado y se vierte la mezcla .
Por último, se introduce el molde con la mezcla del bizcocho en el horno previamente calentado a 180°.
Se deja cocinar por 30-40 minutos o hasta que se introduzca un palillo de madera y salga totalmente limpio.
Preparation of the cake
In a plastic bowl all the solid ingredients are mixed: bread, butter, baking powder, brown sugar and striped paper.The bread is then crushed with the milk and the rest of the liquid ingredients are added.
Mix all the ingredients for 15 minutes until a homogeneous and consistent mixture is formed.
The last thing we put on it is the lemon rind and it is mixed for a couple more minutes.
Then prepare the baking pan previously flourished and pour the mixture.
Finally, the mould with the cake mixture is placed in the oven previously heated to 180°.
Let it cook for 30-40 minutes or until it is introduced or a wooden stick and comes out completely clean.

Decoración de la Torta
En una olla se vierte el agua y se mezcla con la azucar progresivamente a fuego lento, luego se agrega el jugo de naranja y un poco de harina de trigo disuelta en un poco de agua para darle espesor a la cuebierta.Cuando empiece a hervir se mezcla por 5 minutos más y se deja reposar.
Una vez que se reposa la torna se vierte la mezcla sobre la torta y se procede a decorar.Cake decoration
The water is poured into a pot and mixed with the sugar progressively over a low heat, then the orange juice and a little wheat flour dissolved in a little water is added to make the mixture thicker.When it starts boiling, mix it for 5 more minutes and let it rest.
