✅01- Describe A duck? |

Duck is the common name of several species of birds belonging to the Anatidae family. Physically, ducks are medium to small-sized birds with flat beaks and short throats. The neck of the duck is relatively long and the body is slender but slender. Wing pairs are usually long and pointed which helps in long flight. Their toenails are covered with skin. |

Duck is a waterfowl. They stay in the water all day and come back home at night. They can live in both fresh water and saltwater. The wild ducks stay in the water all day and in the evening they move to their own habitats made of thatch inside the forest. And since ducks are domesticated birds, the domesticated species prefer to live in high dry places. |

✅ 03-What's the difference between duck and chicken? |
---|
There are many differences between chickens and ducks. Ducks take to water but chickens roost. Even if these two breeds lay eggs, duck eggs contain 181 kcal per 100 grams and chicken eggs contain 173 kcal. There are also many differences in their physical structure and food habits. Then the meat of these two animals can be eaten by humans, but duck meat is more tasty and nutritious than chicken. |

✅ 04-What does it eat, tell us about the lifestyle of a duck? |
---|
The main diet of ducks comes from the natural environment. Snails, oysters, crabs, earthworms, snails, small fishes and various kinds of insects meet their food needs in open water. Besides, home-bred ducks should be given home-made food, they like to eat wet food. They like to eat rice powder, rice, fish, leftovers of vegetables, rice soaked in water. |
---|
Their lifestyle is simple and easy. No matter where they live, they cannot live without water. They can swim in water from birth. They stay in the water from morning till evening and return home after evening. Egg laying starts from six months of age and 250-300 eggs are laid annually depending on the species. They live for several years. |

They are certainly a bird of economic importance. They can be reared at home and can also be cultivated in farms. Its eggs and meat are in high demand, so by farming it, people can gain income and improve their condition. |

Duck meat is a tasty and nutritious food. The taste of its meat is wonderful.
