THE BEST OF GOD

The best of god is reserved for all true seekers and not casual seekers. If your quest for God is not taking the whole of your heart, you will never be able to experience the fullness of His glory. Friends! There are realms of glory. Scriptures affirm that, “There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory” 1 Corinthians 15:41.

With all that the love of God freely offers; there is no wisdom in staying with the little you have claiming you’ve got it all. There is the good, the better and the best. You may be basking in the “good” but you must not lose sight of the fact that there is a “better”. Yours may be a joyful say in what looks like the “better”, but you must not allow the enemy veil your eyes from knowing that the best is yet to come.

The best of God goes with the whole of your heart. As the song writer put it – “Where the whole realm of nature mine; an offering far too small. Love so amazing, so divine, demands my soul, my life my all”. There is no need mincing words about it, it is clear in Jeremiah 29:13 – “Ye shall seek me and find me, when ye shall search for me with all thine heart”.

No matter how much you claim to be putting in, no matter what you seem to be getting; until the whole of your heart is involved, you are simply beating below the belt. God is not a “mystic”; He is eager for men to some into the fullness of His knowledge and provisions: “He made known His ways unto Moses, His acts unto the children of Israel” Psalm 103:7.

The best of God is for those who will wholeheartedly yield themselves to the discipline of God’s Word. God is a God of patterns and designs. When God gave Moses the task of building the tabernacle, He kept emphasizing to him to ensure that he built according to the pattern God had shown him. When he finished the building, the Lord showed up in a visible manifestation of His glory because it was built according to the pattern He gave.

So it is in our walk with God. There are divinely appointed patterns you cannot afford to do on your own. It takes discipline to adhere to patterns. If with the whole of your heart, you are willing and obedient, you will enjoy the best of God.
