WHAT COMES OUT OF YOUR MOUTH

What comes out of your mouth goes a long way to make the “world” you have around you. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. How did He do it? By the words of His mouth. In the midst of an intimidating void and darkness that enveloped the earth, God opened His mouth and declared – “Let there be light and there was light”.
So much borders on the words of your mouth and that is one reason why you have to be very careful about what comes out of your mouth. Death and life; we understand from God’s Word are in the power of the tongue. Wholesome living is factored by wholesome talking. The moment you allow the enemy hijack your talking, that moment; your life becomes fragmented. One thing to watch in life, is what comes out of your mouth; because, it goes with far reaching effect.
It is true from God’s Word; that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. The mouth does not stand alone, it takes resource from the heart. What you allow into your heart determines what comes out of your mouth. If you ever mean to engage in wholesome talking, what you engage your heart with matters greatly.
“This book of the law shall not depart from thy mouth; but thou shall meditate therein day and night”. Do you meditate with your mouth? Of course not; you meditate with your heart. you can see the connection between the mouth and the heart. The heart is like the engine, while the mouth works like the propeller for driving.
You are to fill your heart with God’s Word, if your life is to be meaningfully lived. The Word of God in your heart is what comes out of your mouth to dispel fear and to get the devil on the run. When what fills your heart becomes the Word, it will find expression through your mouth and your life will be ruled by the Spirit behind the Word. If your heart is void of the Word, your mouth will become ordinary and the devil will set in to ruin you.
