My Visa to Paris

in #travel8 years ago

How I wished for a visa to Paris but it never came.....

I love the French people alot.....

Growing up, I had a flair for French Language to the extent that God directed me back to study it even after concluding my B.Sc in Microbiology.

I studied it and this led to more interest in the language and the people.....I wanted to be like them, learn their culture. I wanted to get to the peak of learning the language. I wanted to make it to the top..so I planned to travel to Paris for further studies...

I applied to a school , got the admission....and I started the whole visa process.
Going through this process wasn't very easy....I spent a lot, travelled a lot, browsed alot, sent mails alot....but then I learnt a lot and made new friends.

Finally I was done applying for visa. I started preparing my things while waiting for my visa to be out in 2 weeks, but funny enough it took 5 months for my application status to be sent back to me......

I waited so long for it. My classes in Paris had started and was up for like 2 months, still I had no visa to travel. This was really devastating.....

I became a regular visitor at the embassy but I was not granted access into the building. And nothing about my application was been said. Then I gave up and decided to continue my life till the embassy was ready to return my passport back to me.

Finally in the 5th month, my passport was sent back with a letter of Visa denial but no reason was given......it was painful...it was too late to reapply because my classes had started a long time...this killed my passion a little bit...

Anyway, I guess am over it right now, and I will try again......
