Cross-country ride to Tinago Falls
Before I moved to the city, we did some sort of a send-off ride across the island of Biliran (just north of Leyte island where I used to live).
My family and almost all my cycling friends came along and it was epic.
Let's start it off with a picture of everyone who joined the ride.
This is everyone, I've photoshopped in two people to make the picture complete. One took the picture and the other was sleeping behind the tree behind the one who took the picture. Can you guess who?
Halfway to the top of the mountain. Had to sidetrack a bit to see the falls.
Welcome to Tinago Falls. In several languages in the Philippines. Tinago means hidden.
Just me jumping off a rock beside the falls.
This was my sister's first long ride so I had to "pull" her to the top.
Finally reached the top of the mountain, it was all downhill from here.
Ended up at the beach long the shore line.
