It is very hard to believe that a government can impose tax to limit social media use in a developing country!
I remember telling you of we in Uganda shall be taxed for using social media and guess what,it was put in effect as stated.

The whole Uganda is in a rage as many people are voicing there concerns on this unfair move by the government! We have a few lauding the tax(Mps...!!! ) and majority condemning the tax,read this below for more of the different responses and reactions from Uganda.

As i promised in my post of yesterday of how i will talk about a crypto that will help remove some of the taxes we are facing now,here we are and just hang on as i tell it to you!

Mobile Money Tax

There is really a lot of noise about about the social media tax in Uganda now.
The less talked about tax is the Mobile Money tax!! Guys as i mentioned in my post yesterday,this is the most insane tax.

This tax levied on services has or is been solved by crypto already as i will explain later...!!

As i explained in my post,the tax is so insane that both the sender and receiver of money are taxed as can be seen from this official announcement by the telecoms companies!

Meeting the individual in person and receive the cash hahaha or traveling if the amount to be sent is significant !

This Mobile money tech had simplified people's live whereby we could even pay for services like bills using our phones!

This new tax means we are now going to be charged 1% tax on any service we pay using this technology...

This tax is really going to affect many services in the country.....

I guess the bankers might have sat with the government complaining of how they had lost business to this mobile money technology!

The truth is that bankers had lost business to this awesome technology,for this last 3 or 4 years....some banks even went out of business....yes out of business ie closed shop(there might be other factors also though!)

It has come to my notice that Ugandans are going to be forced to delev into crypto full swing....Many have to get this app so avoid the 1% tax when using(paying for) services like water and electricity.
