The Best Tips to achieve Success in Steemit
One of the sincere forms of respect is actually listening to what another has to say - Bryant H. McGill
I joined Steemit last month (June 2017) and not to boast, I feel I had a huge success here. I got some good payouts, gain some recognition from the community, entered in active discord channels, and the best - I caught some whales in the ocean.
Allow me to share to you the best tips to succeed here in Steemit. These are based on my experience, and the learning I got from the posts of the best writers here in Steemit.
1. Catch the Whales!
This may not be pleasing to see because others may think it the wrong way. But their upvotes are the most important upvotes you wish to see in your post. You gotta catch them!
How de we catch them?
Write a very useful article, make a beautiful drawing/painting, or create something unique and is "eye catching", they will surely put some love in your post. I've written articles and I was so amazed how they put love on posts which they think are deserving to be upvoted. You goal is to catch their attention, and make your blog useful to them. 100% assured, they will give you an "upgoat".
2. Create Quality content
The most common technique in blogging. Contents that are very useful, photos that are very elegant, and other topics which you think is beneficial to them. Steemit has one of the best communities I've ever seen, and I'm proud to be in a community that cares one another. Maybe not all, but if you think the concept of steemit, its main focus is creating a hyper active community.
3. Join Discord Channels
I was really thankful that I was introduced to discord channels in my early days in Steemit. I was really hyped and feel more comfortable because of discord channels. You can speak with Steemit users, have chitchats, engage in their talks, and speak with some whales! It will really boost your confidence to post more quality contents.
They also offer upvote bots. Comment the link of your post and these lovely bots will upvote your posts. I have a post before that will surely help you, its a complete guide in joining PAL discord channel : Why minnows should engage PAL discord. They also offer postspromotion, where you can put your posts there to promote. Join contests channel, to check contests hosted and joined by Discord members. Country channels, which will help you and your community.
4. Engage in Community Talks
Read blogs from other users and comment your views about the post. In that way, they feel their posts were important to you because you took time to read the post, understand it and give your point of view. Engage especially in "Hot" and "Trending" posts. These posts gained attention to the community mainly of its relevance and how the way it is created. Comment the most beautiful that you can, and they will also upgoat your comment, even resulting to a reward.
5. Join contests, campaigns, and Community related Activity
The contest of @officialfuzzy on "What can you do to make Steemit Community Better" was one of the posts got a huge payout. It boosted and ignited my interest in Steemit. With the likes of @gavvet, @donkeypong, @trafalgar, and @hr1, they were one of the respected whales who interact very much with users.
I also joined @timcliff and @donkeypong's campaign and really helped me in my posts. They showed love and support and its really special to interact with these individuals. They were really awesome!
This will also give you some recognition from the community. Some will even reward you for doing it. Also, if you win you earn some SBD's or steems.
Useful tips for increasing steemit earnings. Good content is the key to success. Discord chats are also useful I am presently active at discord chats. Using minnowsupport to boost my earnings.
