BECOME a STRAIGHT-A STUDENT #3 - 1/5/2018 How To Get Teachers To Like You?!?!
Always in trouble? Teachers hate you? Here are some pro-tips that will convince your teacher that you are a good student and not think of you as a trouble-making kid. Teachers liking you come in handy in the future because they will let you off on assignments, treat you better when you come in late, and not check your assignments as tightly as other students.
#1 - Turn In Your Assignments!
How do you get teachers to like you if you don't even turn your assignments in? Always turn your homework assignments in and try your best every time, even if you don't get what the assignment is about. If you work hard and try, your teacher will definitely want to help you get better. After all, that's what teachers are for!
If you think this is easier said than done, try to incorporate something fun to you into your homework. For example, if you like lettering, write your name in hand lettering fonts! If you like colouring, colour your pictures in! If you like space craft, make your projects in the shape of a rocket! Get creative and find your own way to make your assignments uniquely yours. Comment down below your homework assignments and I can help you find ways to make them more fun!
#2 - Have a good attitude!
If you always come into class with a smile on your face and your are eager to learn, your teachers will definitely like you better! You also shouldn't act like a trouble some kid, and always make sure to raise your hand occasionally so the teacher knows you listen, but aren't a stuck up teacher's pet.
For the first day of school remember to:
- SMILE
- Say good morning!
- (If they don't do introductions) Say hi and tell the teacher your name before or after class
- Answer 1 or 2 questions (NO MORE THAN 3)
- Smile if classmates stare at you
- Introduce yourself to your classmates
- Do at least the first 5 assignments neatly
- At the end of class, tell the teacher thank you!
#3 - Come to extra classes
A teacher loves it when a student ACTIVELY seeks knowledge and effort in the classroom. If you don't get something, come to at least one of the teacher's extra classes outside of school. You don't have to come all the time, but if you can, attend one or two to show you actually CARE about the teacher's class.
