My Daily Post| Nature Live| Probinsya Feels
No place feels like home.
Last January 13, 2018, we had our first family reunion of the Gacula clan (it was my mother’s side) held in our province Candon, Ilocos Sur.
The last time my mom saw our relatives was 56 years ago. So, we were not yet alive by then. When we got there, we had to bless (mag-mano) to each and every one of them as a sign of respect for the elderly for us Ilocano’s or should I say, us Filipinos.
Everyone was so overwhelmed that even some of them cried, they had mixed emotions, they’re all shouting, crying, some are just sitting and smiling at everyone while some are busy singing the karaoke.
It was an all day event. It was short but atleast got to know everyone from the clan. And we were all looking forward to the next coming reunion, hoping on the 2019th.
Thank you for having the time to read my blog.
