Birds and gardens - Actifit: August 27 2020

This charming goldfinch came to visit me today, snacking on the seeds of my fading coneflowers. Everything is fading now in the last weeks of summer.

In the evening a friend invited me to join her on her deck for a glass of wine. But that would mean that I would not get my walk! And if there is anything we Actifitters must have, it is our exercise.

Her house was only a half hour away on foot, so I decided to walk over. Here we a few garden pictures and such along the way.

I love the gardens in our area. People love to plant a lot of flowers here.

Here’s an innovative idea for how to decorate tree stumps!

There are also a lot of small parks. It’s a charming area!

Just before I arrived at my friend’s house, I capture a few pictures of the sky and some colorful clouds.
