The Perfect Summer Day - Actifit: July 9 2022
It was a gorgeous day, and I spent as much of it outside as possible. I took an hour long ride with some friends in the morning, and in the evening my husband and I took the kayaks out on the lake.
Naturally I didn’t get a lot of “steps” from either activity, but I think more of my paddling effort was recorded as steps than riding because they are recoded by my Apple Watch on my arm.
I’ll share some of the pictures from kayaking, since it was much easier to take pictures from the kayak than from the bike!
There’s hubby, padding along. He really enjoyed himself! I’m hoping he will want to go more often.
There were some beautiful pleasure boats out on the water. I love the look of them, cruising along. We have friends with boats. And as I mentioned in this post a few days ago, my husband and I have talked often about owning our own. But the expense, the storage and the upkeep have prevented us from taking the plunge. So I enjoy their beauty and I take a lot of boat pictures!
This next one kind of freaked me out! When a speed boat takes off quickly, the front end raises up out of the water. There were two little children in the front of this boat, I’m guessing age 6 and 4. But they hung on!
Here’s an interesting phenomenon. Collision course?? Watch as these two boats power f directly toward one another!
Ha ha. No collision. They safely passed by one another!
How about a little power sport action? This guy were having fun.
The rest are mostly scenic.
