#ULOG 2 : The best camera is the one that you have now
Welcome to my 2nd #ULOG 😄
On most days I try as much not to waste time and find anything that I will feel productive doing unlike looking through my social media accounts all day long. Our work load at PLDT depends on the calls of the repairmen, if no one calls we basically do nothing and the only thing we can do to pass time is check on social media. Although we really are allowed to do so because our superiors aren’t strict about that. This day was one of those days. Almost no calls, so it was a sloooooowww passing day. I got tired checking through social media so I resorted to one of many things I enjoy doing which is take pictures and edit them. I feel I get to practice my photography skills, improve on my creativity, and enhance my imagination too. My vision influenced greatly by the things I see online is put to the test as I make the most of what’s around me.
As I walked around the office I see a pile of unused wires inside a box:
I take a picture at bird’s eye view or top view and put the word “Wired”
As much as I can, I try thinking of captions that are closely related to the pictures I take. I usually edit on an app called Over to put text or words on a photo. But before that I usually edit the lighting and color of the photo in various apps which include: VSCO, Snapseed, Afterlight, & Lightroom. For collages or frames I use Unfold. If I want a vintage vibe I use vintage camera/filter apps like Lomograph, Nomo, Huji, & RAD VHS. There’s thousands probably millions of possibilities one can do with photos with the selection of technology available to the public today. For captions and the words I put, I depend largely on vocabulary I am familiar with or think about.
More photos I took:
I see a cork board, I felt that it would make a great background for a quote. So I took a photo, edited its lighting and related cork to the quote I created and placed in it.
A common thing you see in buildings or houses are fluorescent lamps/tubes.
I shoot my phone and the contrast looked good. I fixed its orientation, tweaked the lighting, and put the word illuminate.
ALL PHOTOS ARE MINE
I hope this post entertained you 😁
I use an iPhone 6 plus camera and I try to carry out a quote that the best camera is the camera that you have now. Your creativity and imagination plays a big role in the photos you take.
