Seems like a scam. I read the same exact spiel comparing it to regal coin on a few different websites.
but just like regal coin, it has lived to the hype. Everyone was saying it was a scam but just look at it right now. Everyone that said it was a scam is already crying for it. Now, it's too expensive for them to buy coin, they are just doing lending now.
