Scoom snacks at Marienplatz is open 24 hours

This is exciting because "open 24 hours" is a very rare thing for Munich!

Normally if you're in the city center after 10 pm and are hungry then you have to stay hungry. Most of the restaurants stop serving food at this time, and there are certainly no shops open. In fact, even after 8 pm it's difficult to find anything.

Meanwhile, Scoom is a newly-opened chain of shops that sells healthy drinks and snacks. They opened three shops in Munich in 2016. Two at the Hauptbahnhof and one in the "Zwischengeschoss" at Marienplatz. They sell cups of couscous and mixed fruit, various sandwiches, wraps, and paninis too. Lots of vegetarian options. My favourite is the "Spicy Bulgur Frischkäse Salat" pictured above.

I took the above photo at Munich Marienplatz.

They apparently have branches in Berlin, Frankfurt, and elsewhere too.

See their website for further info: scoom.de

By the way, I have absolutely no affiliation with this company. I'm just a happy customer who has often been frustrated in the past at not being able to buy food in Munich after 10 pm.
