The world have become vast, from the time stone is being used to generate light by rubbing together, till the use of lamb as a source of light to the use of electricity. The power supply of electricity is poor and hence the invention of solar energy, in which sunlight radiates energy there by producing heat by chemical reactions which generate electricity.

Solar Energy

Solar energy is an electromagnetic radiation which is emmited by the sun through a source or panel. The sun emmits large amount of energy into the earth's surface and such energy could be transformed into thermal energy or electrical energy.

The solar energy is a renewable energy,the sun supplies 174pw of energy to the earth surface and emmited by clouds etc, while 173pw is being emitted into the earth's atmosphere. The solar energy can power the earth through the emmision of energy through solar panels. When the sun shines the flat plate collectors emmits energy,a flat plate collectors is a solar heating application with blacked metal plate covered with sheet of glass emits the sun rays which is inturned stored. The solar panels which is mounted on the roof tops have Pv cells in the panel which produces electrical charges. The solar panel is being mounted at the roof tops while the battery is kept in a cool and safe place. If paraventure, there is not enough solar energy supply from the panels, the battery have to be charged with a source of light.

Benefits

* It brings about economic growth:

Many industries have shut down due to poor power supply by the use of solar energy, it promotes industrial growth which creates employment opportunities and improved productivity.

* The cost of electricity is being reduced:

Whereby there is a source of electricity with low cost without the need of buying perimeter or paying for electricity bills. The solar energy is that form of electricity power supply with low cost.

* Backup power supply:

In a situation where there is black out for some days in your community, solar energy could be used as a backup power supply.

* Renewable Energy:

Solar power supply is a renewable energy which could be stored and used later on and could be used immediately and could power gadgets in the household depending on the battery capacity.

Devices that uses Solar Energy

Devices being powered by solar energy depends on the battery capacity of the solar. It ranges from the gadgets in the household to company's machine. Gadgets such as television,CD sets, refrigerator, vacuum mixer and other company's devices.

Advantages of solar energy

1. It is a renewable energy.
2. It could be used anytime of the day as far as energy is radiated from the sun.
3. It ruduces noise pollution and ease to use.
4. Does not require paying monthly bills as that of electricity supply.

Disadvantage of solar energy

1. It is expensive to purchase.
2. Have limitations based on the battery capacity to carry some devices.

Conclusion

Solar energy is the 21st century power supply which makes life easier and a form of back up plans for emergencies in hospital and industries. Ease to use and accessible, I implore everyone who have the capital to purchase one and enjoy electricity to the fullest.
