A Good Understanding
As human beings there are certain things that although we understand it is difficult for us to obey them, we are imperfect, just as we have virtues we also have mistakes, and this also happens when our understanding is put to the test, if we can understand everything but that does not mean that we are good understanders.
To be a good understanding is not achieved easily, if not with much wisdom, always learning to listen before speaking, that is the real secret, if we always rush to respond without analyzing we will fall into the opposite of being a good understanding.
A good listener will always be able to listen before going on the defensive, a good listener will always take silence as his most powerful weapon, a good listener will always be willing to take into account the opinion of the other, a good listener is more than a listener, he is the one who hears, listens, analyzes, tolerates and above all never forgets to respect the other.
Let us be knowledgeable, wise, let us listen carefully to other opinions, let us understand that there are different types of people, different opinions, different ways of seeing life and conceiving it. Being a good listener goes beyond quickly understanding what you hear, be humble to accept what the other is telling you and if you differ from the other's opinion understand that everyone has a point of view that is given by their perception of life.
Let us understand more, let us judge less, let us act in favor of the other and this will also become a blessing and wisdom for us.
The good understanding will always be ready with his wisdom to help others, to lend himself to the solution of problems, to be a referee and not a judge, that is the basis of using what we have to bless others.
Let us not be satisfied with simply listening, let us go a step further, let us be knowledgeable, let us become trustworthy, confident, full of wisdom, capable of generating confidence in others so that God can also entrust great things to us.
This is what I will call Listening skills and Education, because when you listen you hear more and understand what your partner is saying and this will help to build the church and community as well.
Most times the listener knows better than the speaker, because he is getting more to what he knows.
The bible says that if we need wisdom we ask God and he will give it to us abundantly, if we want to be understood in the things of life, we must seek from the source of God and thus we will be understood.
