Brace Yourself, A More Real World Will Meet You Tomorrow

A Great Day Friends!

After a couple of years of staying inside the campus, taking down notes, memorizing details, and citing facts, our grade 12 learners are finally scheduled for work immersion at EGI Resort and Hotel, Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City 6015, Cebu. Under the Cookery strand there are 10 of them for the first batch. They'll be away from school for a month to experience the taste of engaging more in the real world of work.

The Preparations

I will just highlight here the final preparation of the trainees before they were sent off the campus. It was just done yesterday during the installation of the our school's new OIC, Office of the Principal.

Task #1: Setting up the buffet table

Task #2: Serving the diners. Their teachers are the diners.

Task #3: Feeding themselves. It is when no one was left in the area but themselves. BREAK TIME!

Task #4: Segregating leftovers. Sorting cutlery and crockery used items.

Task #5: Washing the dishes and cleaning the area.

How awesome it is to see them enjoying their first step in the real world of work. A month from now, we'll be expecting a learner who's equipped already with the basics of employment, and more importantly the basics of the real face of life.
