THE DIARY GAME FOR 30-04-2024|| I CONQUER THE STRESS
Did you know that without a student ID card, you cannot enter my school premises as a student? Did you know that if you maintain a serious outlook in class, the lecturer may believe you grasp what is being taught? What if you had a rough day? Did you know you could end it with a joyful ending? These were only just a couple of the instances I encountered today; let me briefly explain what transpired.
Earlier today, I learned about the 7 a.m. class from our departmental WhatsApp group. Because my home was so far away, I had to travel to school before the lecture began. I departed early, and guess what? I wasn't permitted to enter the school since I forgot my library card. The security officers were serious about my inability to enter. After considerable pleading, I reimbursed him and was given permission to enter. Guess what happens!
Lecturers come before me, which means I must pay close attention in order to absorb his lectures. Now ask yourself, was I able to meet up? It was not simple, but as a Nigerian student, I needed to apply some techniques.
Many lecturers use student facial expressions to rate their understanding of the subject matter. I also noted that other people's responses to class questions were good, so I felt compelled to join the chorus, even though I arrived late. Guess what I did. I pretended to be more serious than the other pupils (which was funny). The images below show how I adjust my face expression by paying attention.
Believe me, that action was for lecturers, but as a computer and robotics student, I wanted to do something serious in order to follow the lecture. So the man taught us Python programming, which was now considered an introductory component of the course, implying that in order to understand the course, you must first master the basics. As a dedicated Nigerian student seeking a good future, I felt compelled to obtain the note and duplicate.
I also needed to ask the man questions about the lecture portion, which I had missed due to unpleasant gate personnel. Trust me, I was able to understand everything after going through all of the procedures, despite the fact that I had a terrible case from the beginning. But, believe me, I closed my day with immense delight after completing all four programming courses today. Having a difficult day in the morning did not guarantee that today would be unsuccessful. After all of my lessons, I needed to eat something from the school restaurant to fuel me for the rest of the day's activities.
I enjoy hanging out with friends that have full cognitive capability; after a tough day, I snapped pictures with them. The photos below depict their joyous expressions after completing today's work as a serious Nigerian student.
In conclusion, despite my sad start to the day, I was able to end it pleasantly after attending all of my lectures and other assignments. Thanks
@jeph001 you have done well by sharing your experiences about your day with us, student face the most challenges, but it's inspiring to see how you stay determined and overcome some of your challenges on school, when I was in school I can guarantee you I went through worst, some lectures can be so cunny and funny, I also try by best to escape troubles those days😂
