ARE YOU THE BEST BUG CATCHER OF 'EM ALL?!! WHALESHARES UP FOR GRABS!!
Hello Steemians!
I'm excited to announce that I will be holding a BUG HUNTING CONTEST with WHALESHARES as prizes.
Now, what in the world is a bug?!
A brief backstory, the word "bug" was coined by Grace Hopper, a computer scientist, when she found a moth inside the Harvard University's Mark II calculator. It was then that they removed the moth and taped it in a log book with the caption "First actual case of bug being found" to describe a computer glitch. Later, after how many years the word "bug" is still being used by people all around the world.
How it works?
So the way the contest will work is that once or twice in a week, starting next week, I will be posting a problem along with a block of code and all you have to do is satisfy the requirements. Don't worry it won't be too hard so that the answers won't be too long. If you think you've successfully debugged the problem, quickly comment the answer with a random quote. One entry per account and only the first TWO correct answers win.
Example
Question : A bug causes the function to fail, spot the bug and the expected output.
function print_hello () {
alrt("this is not hello");
};
print_hello();
Answer : The bug is alrt which should be alert and the output is this is not hello. "Goals transform a random walk into a chase. -- Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi"
Easy enough right?! :D
Contestants must also have or be willing to make a bitshares account to claim prizes, if you don't have one yet you can make on here
The Prizes
I will be giving out 10 Whaleshares to the first TWO winners of the contest courtesy of @akrid. Also, I might give out SBD depending on how everything goes.
