Happy 29th Birthday to My High School Best friend

On April 21, we were invited to my high school best friend to her 29th Birthday. Her house is just a distant from our house and I didn't hesitate to go because it's not every year that he held birthday dinner in her house.

It was an intimate birthday dinner. She only cooks food for her visitors. She has 10 estimated close friend visitors from her high school and college friends. I bring my husband with me and my kids. We came early than the other 10. At 6:00 pm, we came and brought a whole grilled chicken and 2 liters of soft drinks.

Later on, my high school classmates came. It's been years I didn't join some high school gatherings because I got married and gave birth to my daughters. They were our close friends in circle. We were in the same vibes when we were high school. We talked while waiting for the others. I introduced my husband and my kids to them. I have realized that maturity have molds us to be better than before. We talked with jokes but with formality in the words that we used. Still an enjoying company I have experienced with them.

At 7:00pm, the dining table were prepared by her mother. We had a photo opportunity with my best friend, the girl in white sleeveless. She's been my best friend since 2010 and it's been 15 years of friendship we had. That friend wearing eyeglasses, looks weird, but he is just a camera-shy type.

These are the foods that they personally prepared for the birthday dinner;

• Sushi rice
• Bam-e
• Pork
• Chicken
• Pork lumpia

There were also fruits and cakes on the table. When my kids saw the cake, they started acting and pointing on the cake. They really like the cake. My kids had dinner at home before going to birthday dinner, that is why they craved for cake.

Before we had dinner, we prayed first and the birthday celebrant requested me to lead the prayer. Then after we pray, we sang a happy birthday song to the celebrant. The guy who holds the cake is our classmate before. He bought the cake for her. Then we eat together.

We were just 5 visitors and 4 of her family members that time because other batch of her visitors are coming yet. We enjoyed eating together and one of my favorite is the sushi rice. I am thinking to find it on the YouTube on how to cook it. My kids were playing around and I am afraid to might get messed. At 8 in the evening, I told my best friend and her family that I should leave first because it's getting dark and my kids were playful, they might get messy.

We went home with my family happy and full. When we got home we bath the kids before going to sleep.
