The Diary Game: School's Two Wonderful Activities

Today is Thursday, April 10,2025. Early in the morning I went to school because there were two important events that will happen. I arrived at 7am and went directly to my classroom. I prepare myself because the program will start at 9am.

I put my make-up on and get dressed. I put my old black shoes and I'm ready to go. The first part of the program is the State of the School's Address.

The SoSA started at 9am. We sang the Lupang Hinirang, our National Song with the marching of flags and colors then followed by a prayer. Then the processional of the faculty, non-teaching staff and the school heads. The aim of this program is to present the accomplishments and the plans for the opening of the next school year. It was done by our School Principal as she is the head of our school. Our School Treasurer also gave all the money breakdown and expenses.

The first event was done within one hour. There was a 5-minute preparation before to proceed in the next program. The next event was the Prince and Princess.

The teachers were on the spot requested to perform an opening number. We don't have a practice, right away we were called to dance on the spot with a leader on the front. Next is the presentation of candidates on the red carpet.

The candidates must show their lovely smiles and give their best in every presentations so they will be chosen for minor and major awards. They also introduced themselves so the judges will know them.

One of my pupils won the minor awards as the best dressed. I am a proud teacher to him. Five of my pupils joined the event but only 1 got the award. I told them after the program to not worry if they didn't get the award, for as long as they were happy and look beautiful, it's more than a reward for yourselves.

The whole program ended at 11:20am. I went back to my classroom and change outfit so I can go home to lunch at home with my family.
