Animal Farm!

The title might be deceiving, but no matter. I had the chance in December to go visit one of my favorite couples, Denny and Tony, who happen to have their own makeshift zoo. It was a last minute trip, but nonetheless, the zoo was incredible. They had rare birds, tortoises, chimpanzees and more! The animals that blew my mind though were the camel and the zonkey!

First was the camel. She would not let me pet her, for some reason, but absolutely loved my friend Rachel. Here's her petting the camel! She was a sight to see. It's rare that you get the chance not only to see a camel out of caged fences, but actually to be able to interact with it was so freaking cool.

As I stated, the camel was not the only attraction. They had a real live Zonkey. A zonkey is what you get when you breed a zebra and a donkey together. It doesn't sound like it works, but here's proof that it does. The first picture is of my friend Thomas. The next is of me.

I wish I had better pictures of the chimpanzee and tortoise, but unfortunately, they were just too blurry (the photos, not the animals).

Overall, a great trip with friends, laughter and memories to last a lifetime.
