Oh hai, didn't see you there! (Macro photography)
"Bee to the blossom, moth to the flame; Each to his passion; what's in a name?"
~ Helen Hunt Jackson
After yesterday's awful weather, today has been absolutely perfect weather. The sun is out and very few clouds in the sky.
Thus I was able to capture some macro photography shots with my Canon 80D camera with a 75 - 300 mm lens.
The first shot is of a bee that was pollunating a flower when it appears that I caught it off guard. It looks like it's stinger is straight up in the air and it's head is under it's butt looking back at me, as if to say "oh, hi there!" Even if it isn't, it still appears that way.
The next two shots are of two different types of butterflies. The first is just as it is closing it's wings, giving the appearance that it is shielding itself from the sunlight. The second shot is of a small butterfly (maybe moth?) sitting atop a flower.
The final macro shot is of a spider that was busy spinning it's web. The wind was really blowing hard, making it quite difficult for the spider to stay on it's web, but it was still doing a good job at it.
What a beautiful day to spend outside.
One love,
