IT'S JUST WHAT THEY LIKE

I like clean. Very clean. The electrician came today. He was very dense. Slow moving with a dull look. It was early in the morning.

He walked in with muddy boots. The floors here are painted white wood. He fixed a wall switch and left a big mess. Went into the attic and brought down all sorts of loose insulation all over him and his clothing and consequently it went everywhere else too. I got the feeling he was enjoying somehow making a mess. the messier the better. Making a statement perhaps.

When I went to pay him my hands were dirty from a little gardening I was doing while he was repairing the electric. As I tried to shake the dirt from hands he said with a sly smile, "A little dirt never hurt anybody."

I was surprised at how I didn't get angry or feel agitated by his manner and how it would mean I would have some serious cleaning up to do. He could have been a little more considerate of my standard. Made even a little attempt, at least made a show of attempting. it is my home. But he didn't.

I was fine with it. Clean is my thing. I like it. Dirty is his.
Someone who is dirty may think my liking clean is silly.
But it isn't. It's just what I like. I like flowers, simple uncooked foods, writing and Krishna consciousness. I like quiet and if I can find one or two good friends I am happy.

If someone likes dirty there is no reason to think less of them. It's just what they like. Why find fault with them? If they find fault with me that's their problem.I

I can not give you the reference of Ram Chandar or Krishna, because they were not historical figures...good content @jiva34

Agreed! well said.

If they find fault with me that's their problem.
