Re-introducing myselfsteemCreated with Sketch.

I wanted to make this video to speak to Steemians directly.
I just turned 70 last month. I haven't had this much fun since I was a teenage.
I love what is going on with crypto currencies. The wicked witch (debt based currencies) is dead. Hooray...
I have so much to learn and my poor old brain has to try to understand all of this, but I wouldn't miss this for world.
It's not just "the money." It's so much more.
I live very simply and use my time to prepare for the big journey that may be coming at any time now.
Steemit is very much a part of my preparing. I like to share what I am interested in and meet others with similar interests.
Like minds.
And last week, my first week, I was rewarded with $60. A pretty penny for an old woman living on fixed income the size of a postage stamp. I am trying to tell people I know about Steemit but they still seem asleep to me. They are very busy posting on other social media but they don't see the incredible explosion that is going on in Steemit. At least I do.
Who says life can't be fun. Has to be all drudgery. (Or else illegal...)

Helping Others To Help (others) 1 By 1.

Welcome to steemit! I am the caregiver for my mom who has advanced stage dementia, and I just had to click on your video. It is very heartwarming to see the cognition and education you have. My mom worked in the coal mines of PA to help keep the family going, along with her other siblings who have all passed.

If you have any questions about steem, unfortunately I cannot help. However, (and I don't know your situation) if you ever wanna chit chat, etc. feel free to do so. I wish you enough :)
Upvoted, Resteemed, and now following :)

Best of luck @jiva34 !!!!!

Oh. How wonderful you are able to do that. I am well acquainted with dementia. I am seeing to the care of my father, 98. I cannot care for him at home. I tried. It was beyond my physical and mental capacity so he is in a full facility nursing home on Medicaid. I became so stressed out trying to get everything arranged for his care I ended up with pneumonia. Just starting to get some strength back. It takes forever to clear up from pneumonia. Stay well. Many of us are in this position now. Caring for aging parents. They are so helpless.

Welcome jiva! I've known you for quite a while. Guess what! You look younger than you did when I met you. You are glowing! Literally!

70 going on 11.. :>) I'm so happy to see you again.

welcome friend
