RE: How To Spot A Ponzi Scheme - Way Too Many These Days
Just my thoughts here. I have dabbled with a couple of the HYIPs or what ever and seen them all fall in short order. I did get lucky with a few of them actually paying more than I put in but knew they were risky. But the setup of Bitconnect does seem to be different with them having a coin and blockchain(also a exchange built into the website) of their own. The way their coin is tied to the price of Bitcoin and that you turn over your BCC for loans and they are free to do with them as the please does seem to give them the opportunity to make real returns. I am very interested to see how(if) they end. The rest are just using new money to pay old investors. A true Ponzi if you will. Anyways just my thoughts and ramblings. What do you invest in?
BCC's interesting. Won't call it a scam, but it's not something i'm comfortable investing in. Personally, i invest in stocks and forex. Both have gone well and i'm comfortable with the risk.
I don't usually talk about Bitconnect here on Steemit just because of the hostility towards it. But these are just some things I've been thinking about.
