WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?
Plagiarism can be defined as copying or looting someone else's work, notion or concept and transmitting it as your own work without giving any value or ownership to the original author which is a crime.
Types of plagiarism
- Complete plagiarism
- Accidental plagiarism
- Source-based plagiarism
- Direct plagiarism
- Complete plagiarism:
this type of plagiarism, is when an author copys the original work of another completely without changing any of the phrases or give credit to the main author.
- Accidental plagiarism:
This is done unintentionaly. This type of plagiarism is when a writer use someone else idea or message unintended.but nevertheless it is analyzed plagiarism because it causes a level of penalty.
- Source-based plagiarism:
In this type of Plagiarism happens when someone borrow information source but cites only the main source of data.
- Direct plagiarism:
Direct plagiarism can also be known as deliberate plagiarism. is the copying of the original authors work verbally without reference to ensure that the work is copied.
HOW TO AVOID PLAGIARISM
- You can avoid plagiarism by citing the main source
- Use plagiarism checker
- give full references to the original author works when you feel the need to use another author ideaThe word
- we can also avoid it by creating and conceptualizing our own ideas and then puttingit in writings

Means a quote from a reference to a publication or writers
