THE TRIP NORTH
After being treated poorly by his family, Evan decided not to surround himself with FAKE family and wanted to go see his mom in Chicago instead...so away we went.
It was about a 5 hour trip and we took off early in the morning, at about 3 AM. This way we would be at his mom's house at a good time to spend Christmas morning. We arrived, and after a few hellos and Lovins between those two, we settled in to open presents.
After present opening we hung out and his mom started in on making a Christmas roast. While it cooked they decided to go pokemon hunting and I figured I'd tag along as security.😁 And I'm glad I did as there was a few neat things to see.
*This is a dam on the Fox River.
*Some type of a castle thing, that didn't really have any description or tell me what it was. 🤣🤣
*This was one of the gears that used to operate the old dam that was on the river.
