Today was the fourth edition of CryptoBay! The meetup has been running consistently every two weeks in Lisbon's hottest co-work space, Beta-I. Today was a great turnout of people and even with declining interest on google trends and declining market prices for cryptocurrencies, this meetup continues to grow.
Today, we had two very cool guests presenting. Jacques @bluabaleno talked about the Steemit economy and showed a great knowledge of how the steem blockchain and platforms work, nailing many diverse and tricky questions from the audience. Jack will be giving another talk on Steemit tomorrow at the Block Cafe for those who missed out.
Following on from Jacques, we had George Basiladze, the CEO of & founder of CryptoPay for another very interesting talk. George discussed anti money laundering, know your customer processes and how he deals with the issues which can arise in his business on a day-to-day basis. Also, many questions and discussion from the audience for George on matters ranging from security, liquidity, business competition, regulation, and much more.
