Actifit Report 180722: The Mass Distraction
So Monday was day three without Mom. Emotions were running high!
First Up: The Roly Slide Park
They used to refer to this as the roly slide park because they have was slide that's like a UPS or warehouse conveyor slide.
We explored the city.
The Bank
Town Center
Uptown
Then we had a picnic lunch, ran a couple errands, and went....
To The Arcade
One way to definitely distract the little ones from the absence of a parent is a trip to the bowling alley/arcade at the local shopping mall.
They play games for a while
Then we turn those game credits into tokens where they can go to the store and buy worthless junk.
To me,. I loved arcades growing up so I'm more than happy to take them. I'm actually trying to teach them how they can save their tickets (a.k.a. by not buying the worthless junk) and save the tickets to buy something nice.
Problem is they have to wait and curb their desire for instant gratification. Definitely a lesson worth teaching.
