For those unaware, the Okanagan Valley in BC Canada is the only hot desert in Canada (apparently the arid environment of the arctic makes it technically a desert as well). This results in wildfires breaking out pretty much every summer, but this year the fires are popping up throughout BC.
If you're feeling charitable and would like to help out, the Red Cross is taking donations to help in fire relief efforts.
