Congress can't agree on rounding errors at this point while viruses rage and fires burn the country

The proposed skinny bill is DAO and more time has been wasted

The Senate is set to introduce their so called skinny bill which is a much more targeted bill than both the HEROS Act as well as the HEALs action which were introduced previously.

Neither of which passed.

However, offering even less money makes sense right?

The Democrats have already said this bill is DAO and has no chance of passing.

The government continues to waste time while people are starving, losing their homes, getting sick, and the country is burning.

The above is a list of fires currently burning in the western United States.

The government dares to talk about spending too much money on these bailouts yet they were the ones that shut the entire country down in the first place.

I don't think it's called a bailout anymore when you force people to close down and then offer them back only portions of what they were already making before you shut them down.

The terrible part is that the national debt is already 26 trillion USD, and they are bickering over roughly $1 trillion. The debt is already so astronomically large that it will never be paid back anyways, the fact that they are putting their foot down now over $1 trillion is a perfect example of everything that is wrong with Washington and politics today.

Hello appreciated @jondoe.

The terrible part is that the national debt is already 26 trillion USD,...

Wow, these are truly alarming figures!
