Deviated Septum Surgery - Sucks
This morning around 11am I had to have a surgery to correct my badly deviated septum.
It was important for me to do this not just because I get allergies super bad and frequent sinus infections but moreso because it affects my ability to breathe through my nose and also for the fact that I have bad sleep apnea and my nose makes it difficult for me to use my breathing machine at night to help me breathe while I sleep.
I got out of recovery around 12:30pm and it's presently about 9:00pm so it's really only bee about 8 hours or so but I can tell you that it's not the worst surgery in the world but it does still suck pretty bad
My nose hurts pretty bad and it constantly bleeds, it also come with a nice big headache.
Thankfully I was prescribed so pretty nice pain meds but this is going to be about a 3-4 recovery or so for the pain part and about a week to be totally healed.
Very annoying but necessary nonetheless.
I'm just hanging out in bed through all this so it gives me time to check my Steemit and even write a little more than I usually do with my quick updates.
Anyway I'm sorry for the graphic photo and whatnot, hope no one is too squeamish but thanks to everyone that's already been checking in on and me and to everyone who reads my posts.
The community feeling is the biggest reason why I love Steemit.

Haha thanks man. Over the past year of so I've really been trying to tackle as many health issues as I could, especially now that I'm a dad, I need to stick around for as long as possible. First is was my sleep apnea, then it was my high blood pressure, and now of course my deviated septum which is supposed to help me sleep better at night also and hopefully breathe better in general with less congestion or sinus infections. 2017/2018 has been my quest for self-improvement for sure.
Hey man will you make another post about the results of your surgery? I’ve been thinking of having this done.
Sure thing @dugan I'd be happy to share my experiences once this is all said and done. I'll be sure to drop a mention to you in that post as well.
Thanks @Jonnyla08 I really appreciate it.
I haven't forgot about you, just still recovering, I'll post an update soon though.
Buen día amiguito espero te recuperes pronto
Wish you a speedy recovery dude!
Thank you @jeffjagoe that's very kind of you. I've still been checking out as much as I can on Steemit and Steemengine and I've been trying to keep up with everything that you've been putting out. One of the benefits of having all this down time right now. Talk to you soon.
Wish you a speedy recovery
