Bringing ancestral patterns to life: The final stage of a pre-Columbian design.

If you've seen my previous posts, you'll remember that we started by mastering Blender's precise geometric grids and then used those fundamentals to draw a traditional pre-Columbian design. Today, we'll finally bring that artwork to life by moving from a 2D graphic to a fully developed 3D object.
In this video tutorial, I'll show you that while modeling the shape of a ceramic jug is a surprisingly quick and easy process, starting from a simple single vertex

and then giving it volume.

The real "magic" happens during the texturing phase.

We'll explore how to apply our design to a curved surface

to achieve a look that feels both ancient and modern.
