HUMANS WITHOUT PLATELETS (An Original Poetry } Day 72

The world is a cocoon of sleeping hearts
unwilling to go on dangerous voyages
the urge to live life, is like walking on slippery porridges
but we are soldiers without spine threading the battlefield.
hiding cowardly away from the spinning agility of the flying spears
We are humans without platelets
clotting our dreams for fear of living it's reality.
fear has crippled our hunger to fly
our desires to walk on miry terrains
we are like Peter walking on fiery waters
but faithlessly drowning for lack of believe.
We are humans without platelets
fine architects, uncertain of our designs
we are sailors at land but jellyfishes at sea
basking in the sturdiness of the storm
when the we could thrive in our weariness
and take our doubts on a fight to the death
regardless of the hollow ground and quick sand.
We are humans without platelets
loving in silence but too weak to speak
dying for just a kiss and a touch
but protective and invisible as a chameleon
Wanting earnestly to profess the content of our heart.
but incoherent as wailing echoes.
POETIC NOTES & ANALYSIS
One of man's greatest undoing is the inability to inspire courage to take simple but tasking actions, the poem's title said "humans without platelets" the platelets is a small colourless disc-shaped cell fragment without a nucleus found inside a body however here it was uses as a metaphor, a bit of a symbolism which tends to imply that humans are complicating, they have intention and desires yet their inability to take action, deterrs them.
The last stanza spoke about one of the issues with humans, sometimes they feel a deep connection, a deep feeling to love someone yet their inability to express this ends up haunting them more than the reason they were cowardly

It is difficult to overcomethe fear of stepping into the unknown. And your poem was all about it. I think you very beautifully cover every part in it. Well written. :)
Good poem and good response. But let me chip in this: fear of the unknown is one of our evolutionary legacies. What we need to do is kill the fear of death. That will liberate us from the fear of venturing out.
Well written bro
Keep it up
