The economic situation in Nigeria isn't funny as everyone is feeling the hardships in the country. Every day the price of goods and services keep rising while salary is still fixed. Being in the northern part of Nigeria I know what thousands of Nigerians are passing through.
People hardly live well today because of the economic situation in the country. The economic situation has made a lot of people adjust their lifestyles as everyone now is looking for a way to survive the hardships. I couldn't believe what I saw from an elderly man whom I met at a restaurant he said due to the economic situation in Nigeria. No matter what we are going to survive and overcome the situations in Nigeria.

In my family, we are managing things and my dad who loves spending his money unnecessarily has adjusted the way he used to spend. My dad is someone who will just enter the market without having a list of the items to buy in the market, nor having a budget for what he wants to buy.
Before my dad would spend his money without budgeting, but today due to the economic situation in the country he has adjusted. In other not to go begging or looking for where to borrow money when everyone is feeling the heat, there are something's in my family that we have scraped out from the family budget.
In my family, before we used to buy 1 bag of rice the biggest size but due to the economic situation we could only afford to buy half a bag of rice so there would be money to buy other things. Before in my family, we used to cook three times a day, but today it is no longer like that because of the economic situation in which everything is now so expensive in the market.

People are selling their properties and engaging themselves in anything that can fetch them money so they can survive the hardships in the country.
For my part, I have increased my hustle so I can have something to contribute to my family. Before I was only focusing on trading the financial markets, and blogging on the Steemit platform, but today I added other works to make up for what I have been doing so I can cope with this Economic Situation that we are in.

I have minimized the way I spend money. Before I usually went out to eat in a classic restaurant but today, I do cook for myself because eating outside is more expensive than when I cooked for myself. I have stopped going to clubs or to a place where I would spend money. For me to be able to cope, I have to double my hustle and adjust my way of spending.

Just as in your country, here in Venezuela we also choose to sell properties to solve economic problems, it is unfortunate, but a reality.

This is not only your country but this situation is going on globally and still counting. I have faced it personally but it did not hit me as severely as it did to others during COVID era and I have explained one such family in my post. I wish you the best in this contest!

If anyone says that this economic hardship hasn't affected him or her, probably the individual is lying. The truth is that the economic hardship in the country has affected individuals and families in differebt ways. The way to curb this issue is sticking to iur budgeted price not performing impluse buying in the market. Honestly, this situation needs to be looked into. Good luck on your entry.
