Hello friends, greetings to you, and I trust you are doing very well. I hope everything about you and your loved one is going well and you are having a nice time. As for me, I spent half of my time today in the kitchen preparing foods.

When it comes to food, I prefer eating the food that I prepare myself over buying it somewhere else. In this post, you are going to see all the foods that I ate during the day, beginning with my breakfast. Much thanks to the Steem for Parkistan community for organizing such an interesting contest.

MY Breakfast

For my breakfast, I cooked jollof rice and beans. In the morning when I woke, I started feeling hungry after working online for over 2 hours. I began seeing stars that made me stop what I was doing.

I quickly went to the kitchen to see if I could find snacks to hold my stomach, which I couldn't, and instead of buying snacks that would not hold my stomach for long, I decided to cook Jollof rice and beans.

In cooking this Jollof Rice, I use the following ingredients: rice, beans, eggs, crayfish, fresh tomatoes, fresh peppers, onions, vegetable oil, and spices. I finished cooking the food and ate it around 10:35 a.m.

My lunch


I ate fruit salad as my lunch. During the day I went out with my friend, and as we were coming back home we both stopped at the market and bought a few things. While at the market, I noticed that the small quantity of rice that I cooked in the morning had already finished, and upon reaching home after walking under the sun, I would be very tired and tasty, which prompted me to prepare a fruit salad and eat it.

The fruit salad was prepared by me using the following fruits: watermelon, banana, groundnut, coconut, and peak milk sachet. Indeed, my friend the salad fruit was very delicious when I ate it.

My Dinner


In the evening, after resting, I decided to cook okra soup since I had already bought ingredients at the market in the afternoon when I went out to see my friend. Cooking okra soup isn't stressful to me when the okra and vegetable leaves have been cut. Beside that, I loved eating okra soup more than other types of soup, which is why I prepared and ate okra soup as my dinner during the day.

In cooking the Okra soup that you are seeing above, I make use of the following ingredients: okra, meat (beef), fresh fish, vegetable leaf, ogbono, pepper salt, Maggi, and palm oil. I finished cooking and eating the okra soup at a late hour in the day.
