The Diary Game: A Better Life How I Spent My Day on January 1, 2023

Hello friend, greetings to you, and welcome to my post. The first day of the year is usually filled with a lot of happiness as we tend to celebrate and thank God for the gift of life. It was around 10:50 p.m. the previous day that I went to church (cross overnight).

While at church, everyone was busy looking at their watches so they could be the first to shout "happy new year" aloud. Finally, 12 a.m. arrived, and everyone inside the church began praising God and wishing each other a happy new year.

I wished a lot of people a happy new year inside the church before I then came out and started calling and sending new year's wishes to my loved ones. After I made my wish, I then went to bed at around 2:24am.

While I was sleeping, I didn't even know that time had gone by until my sister came and woke me up for prayers at around 6:35 a.m., which we then said. It was after the prayer that I then went out and went around wishing neighbors and other people a happy new year, where I then did a little housework.

After I had finished doing my house chores, I then went and took my bath, dressed up, and went to 10 a.m. Mass at Saint James Catholic Church, AFI Barracks Ikom. As I went to church, I saw most of my old friends who had come from afar just like me to celebrate the new year with their loved ones. I chatted with some of them before I then left the church and came back home, where I and my siblings then took some photos.

As I was taking photos with my siblings, their started telling me to take them out to town, of which I didn't feel like going out on that day. However, I gave them what I had, and they then went.

I was left alone at home, me and my Steemit work, where I then posted two posts, commented and voted on several posts before I started meditating and reflecting on things, which I then rest from and wake up on in the evening, and took my dinner for the day.

During the New Year's celebration, I ate a lot of foods and drank a lot of soft drinks. It's a joyful day; it's a year of supernatural favor.
