CONOR MCGREGOR WILL BE STRIPPED OF LIGHTWIEGHT TITLE!!!

Looks like Dana White found his balls and made the announcement that Connor Mcgregor will be stripped of the 155 pound lightweight title when the first punch is thrown between Interim Title Holder Tony Ferguson faces #1 contender Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 223 on April 7 in Brooklyn, New York. He should of been stripped after a year of not fighting in the UFC.

Mcgregor hasn't defended his belt in over a year and has not been active in the cage since winning the title from Eddie Alvarez. In that time he has squared off in the boxing ring with Floyd Mayweather. Arguably, the best boxer of our generation, and possibly of all time.

I can't really blame Conor for taking a 100 million dollar pay day to face Mayweather in a boxing match. People will do insane things for a fraction of that amount. He has to do right for himself and his family, but jumping in and out of the cage has made MMA fans such as myself wondering how can he not address the year long inactivity in the UFC. Case in point, George St. Pierre knew he was going to be out of action for a very long time battling illnesses, so he decided to vacate and not hold up the 185 pound division. The question is, why hasn't Mcgregor vacate the 155 pound title? Why hasn't Dana White bash Mcgregor like he did St. Pierre for not defending?

For months now, Mcgregor has taken social media stabs of UFC fighters in a attempt to stay in the limelight and relevant in current MMA scene. He has recently stated that he was offered to fight Frankie Edgar 4 weeks ago and no one in Frankie Edgars camp or officials of the UFC have confirmed that a deal was on the table.

Dana White, the President of the UFC, is the biggest Conor Mcgregor nut huger in the world, because Conor makes the UFC a lot of money. We all know that. He will never roast him like he does the other UFC divisional champions.

I think it's time to stop playing the hype game and back up what you preach. Fighters need to fight in the cage and not with their lips via keyboard. If you're a troll and have no social life, then I can see why you would condone this type of antics. It's time to put up, or shut up.

Put your money where your mouth is, and fight every contender out there and not the ones that the UFC spoon feeds you.
