Today Marks My 60th Birthday || A Certified Senior Citizen
Greetings, Steemians, and members of the SteemitPhilippines community. I sincerely hope and pray that everyone is in excellent health.
Yes, I've earned the title of Certified Senior Citizen. That means more wrinkles on my brow and a platinum mane on my head. Furthermore, I am now a PWD member (Person With Discounts). I shall now reap the benefits of being a citizen of this country who has served for a number of years. I will now be able to take advantage of the savings that the law provides for Senior Citizens on maintenance medications, some grocery products, transportation fees, and movie tickets, among other things.
The aged woman is an essential component of any sweet society's recipe. The loving arms of a mother with the wisdom of experience and the temperance of time are the greatest blessings of the aging woman. Let my love flow to the young with each year, and let my knowledge be their guide when they seek it. Allow me to be the good arms they fall into, the shoulder they seek refuge on, and the heart that is always open and warm. For that is the beauty of the aging woman, the beauty that remains in the soul and shines from the eyes. With my wrinkles and old-fashioned expressions, I hope to be a part of the road map to a better life.
If all you did was hide in the rear of a self-driven bus, reaching old age is no achievement. Old age had previously seemed like a faraway destination on some unexplored horizon, but it had arrived, just as one foot in front of the other can take you thousands of miles if you keep walking. Slate grey, classic page soles, and a rainbow of colors ranging from new coins to practically platinum hair. Because I had written the story of my life with the loveliest of hands, an old woman was constructed of love and knowledge.
Perhaps the strong influence of my life on others will deepen as the wrinkles on my face deepen. I want to embrace old age gracefully, not with a colossal spending binge. But, for the time being, I'll just relax with my favorite cup of coffee and watch the birds, the butterflies, and the cheerfully growing spring plants in the yard.
