WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THE PHILIPPINES NOW...MAYON_VOLCANO_ERUPTION_ON_THE_NEWS[1]

The Perfect Cone Volcano called Mayon Volcano found in the Province of Albay in the Bicol Region here in the Philippines is showing its rage for how many days now. I just want to share what's happening in my country. Please help us pray that it will not lead to a Major eruption. I know the feelings and the experience of such a Catastrophe because I was then 19 years old when Mt. Pinatubo erupted here in our Province Zambales. It was horrible. Many died and many houses were damaged .

Now I will try my best to translate the Tagalog News into English. The News came from GMA Kapuso Channel 7, one of the biggest TV stations here in the Philippines.

That is one of the many lava fountain episodes that were listed last night up to the dawn of the day captured by our Camera. The lava fountain lasted to 3 minutes up to 30 minutes and according to PHILVOCS (Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology) the lava fountain raises up to 500 to 700 meters and the ushes were 2 1/2 and up to 3 kilometers up. In every eruption there were sounds heard that were just like thunders and airplane-like sounds. PHILVOCS even reported that there were pyroclastic flow with hot gas and volcanic matters being blown by the Volcano. When the sun rises, the flow and the Volcanic ashes like cloud were more evident and because of the wind the ash fall reached the town of Ginubatan, Ligao, Uwas, Gibon and Pulanggi The Volcano is now covered with Ashes. It was about 9 in the morning when there was again a Chriatom Magmatic eruption of the Volcano just like yesterday. The ash flow reached up to 5 kilometers and there were again threats to the nearby towns. The people in the center of Legaspi watched afar the recurring eruptions of the Volcano. Our Youscooper Mark Angelo Taro also captured on his camera one the many eruptions. Past 1 in the afternoon when there was again an eruption and the ash flow was like a cauliflower in the sky and the Volcano is now more active and is going to blow lava again. ( Volcanologist Speaking) " To what the Volcano is showing, Posibility wise it will go there soon, despite to the lava flows and eruptions, still inflated and right now there is no tendency towards lowering the status." The public is now cautioned to the pyroclastic flow being shown by the Volcano mixed with other volcanic materials and that these are deadly materials due to the extremely hot that reaches to 1000 degrees Celsius. ( Volcanologist Speaking) " If your body was hit by this material as if you were oven baked that when you hold your body it reaches to your bone." The danger zone was widened to 9 kilometers up to the chosen places like Camalig, Santo Domingo and Ginubatan, there are now mandatory evacuations being enforced to those places. Cutting off the supply of Electrical powers to the danger zone is being considered to discouraged the residents to go back to their places near to the Volcano. There will be also temporary road closures when there is thick ash fall....(fading)
