Hello community, this is my contribution of Steemhomework. Created by @steemiteducation

Every 22nd of April, in the world, is celebrated Earth Day. This day we perform different activities that make us aware of how important our home is, what it means to recycle and care for the planet.
In different parts of the world This date is celebrated, with recreational activities for children, didactic, informative, awareness and prevention.

School, kindergarten and home are the basis of education. That is why it is essential to talk about this date with children, to raise awareness, to dialogue, to teach recycling and to take care of the environment.

On this day we could perform the following activities:

  • Dialogue with children about our environment, who they live in and how to care for them.

  • Imitate animals and associate them with the environments where they inhabit.

  • Telling stories, poems, riddles and rhymes about the environment.

  • Observe photographs of areas cared for by humans and neglected and contaminated environments. Reflect on the importance of not polluting and recycling.

  • Talk about the importance of keeping our environment clean (from the home, the classroom, the city, the world).

  • Go around the Garden District and observe the atmosphere, if there are papers lying on the ground, the smoke of the cars, the cleanliness or dirt of the streets, etc.

  • Create environmental groups and name them. Eg: "Clean planet", "Environmental Patrol", etc. Prepare the clothes with which they will travel the garden and the streets, cleaning and collecting materials that contaminate. Waste that is easily degraded can be placed in a classified container.
