THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE:

HOW I MET MY HUBBY

It was a sunny Saturday afternoon in Lagos, and I had decided to spend it exploring the local art scene at one of the many prestigious gallery around my area .

As I wandered through the exhibits, admiring the vibrant colors and emotive brush strokes, I stumbled upon a piece that took my breath away - a stunning portrait of a woman, her eyes shining with a quiet strength .

As I wandered through the gallery, I felt a sense of loneliness wash over me . My heart was still reeling from a recent breakup, and I thought I'd never find love again . The pain of losing someone I loved was still fresh, and I felt like a part of me was missing .

I stood there for a long time, lost in the painting's beauty and emotion . And then, I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder . I turned to see a handsome man smiling at me, his eyes crinkling at the corners . "You like the artwork?" he asked, his deep voice sending a shiver down my spine .

"Sam" was his name, and he had a way of making me feel seen and heard in a way that no one else ever had. He was a neighbor next door

I nodded, trying to hide my tears . But Sam saw them, and his expression softened . "Hey, are you okay?" he asked, his voice filled with concern .

I shook my head, feeling a dam break inside me . Sam pulled me into a warm embrace, and I let my tears flow . "I'm so sorry," I sobbed . "I'm just going through a tough time."

Sam held me close, stroking my hair and whispering words of comfort . "You're safe now," he said . "I'm here for you."

As we stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, I felt a sense of safety and security that I'd never felt before in a long while. It was as if our hearts had connected on a deep and fundamental level . I knew what this felt like. I had felt it before.

But could it be that I was falling for him??
Yes!, I was falling in love again.
LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!!

We spent the rest of the day together, walking through the gallery and talking about our hopes and dreams . We shared our fears and insecurities, and we found solace in each other's embrace .

Sam was passionate about art, and his enthusiasm was infectious . He showed me the beauty in the world, and I found myself getting lost in his words .

As the sun set over Lagos, we sat on the beach, watching the stars twinkle over the ocean . Sam took my hand, and I felt a spark of electricity run through my body.
It was as if we had known each other for years, not just hours.

At one point, He turned to me and said, "You know, I've been looking for someone who speaks my language - the language of love and of art"
His eyes locked onto mine, and I felt my heart skip a beat .
In that moment, I knew I had found my person, my soulmate .

We exchanged numbers, and Sam walked me home, the Lagos sunset casting a golden glow over our budding romance .

As we stood outside my door, his eyes shining with sincerity, Sam took my hand and said, "I want to spend the rest of my life speaking this language with you."
I smiled, knowing exactly what he meant.

I nodded, my heart overflowing with joy . "I want that too," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. We talked long into the night, sharing our stories and our souls . And as the night wore on, I knew that I had found my soulmate, my partner, my best friend!

We got married a year later, surrounded by friends and family, with the Terra Kulture gallery as our backdrop .
And as we exchanged our vows in a mix of English, Yoruba, and pidgin, our hearts spoke the language of love that only we could understand .

Years later, when people ask us how we met, we smile and say, "In the language of love, at the intersection of art and soul."

And everyday, we uphold each other, knowing that our love is the greatest masterpiece of all! . Our love story is one of hope and redemption, of finding love in the darkest of times. It's a reminder that love can heal even the deepest of wounds, and that two people can come together to create something beautiful and true.

The end

I would like to invite my friend
