The Diary Game: Bedridden Because Of Sickness 10-04-2025

Hello ladies and gentlemen of steemit, how is everything going? Even though I am very sick, I will manage and tell you in brief of how my day went, please bear with me because I am going to make it a little bit shorter than usual.

I woke up very sick on Thursday morning, my whole body was as if it was on fire, I was just lying on bed while my kids and husband did the chores and made breakfast, it was so bad that I had fever and at the same time, I was unable to to get off bed till 11 in the morning.

My husband called me and asked me to wake up and take my bath so that I can eat and also be taken to the nearby chemist for medication. I struggled till I was able to stand up and when I did, I took the water from the water flask my daughter boiled for me and then I bath and ate small because the whole of my mouth was tasting so bitter.

When I left my house, I went to go and stay with my kids and husband at the shop, he (my husband) couldn't open his own shop because he knew my kids would not be able to attend to customers themselves.

When I got to the shop, my husband was not even smiling, I think he was moody because of how sick I was, I was even the one cheering him up that I will be fine. He wasn't satisfied with it till he got a call from gala distributor that he should come out to the main road and get some cartons of gala, I volunteered to go and get it just to show him I was strong even when I wasn't, when I came back, I packed them and went back home to lie down again.

I didn't even know when my husband came inside the house and brought some tablet of medicine to take, he knows I don't like taking drugs that was why he came by himself to make sure I took the drugs and I did then lie down and sleep came.

I ddnt know they added sleeping pills to the medication, that was why I slept till night that my kids came back and took their bath and even slept without me knowing and when I woke up at night, I was getting better but I bath again, when I wanted to sleep back my husband gave me porridge yam for me to eat, and I ate it and sat down for a while.

When I was about to turn on the television, sleep came and I went to our room and I slept off. Thank you my friends for following me up till now, I will talk about tomorrow as well, I am praying to get better very soon.
