What is Stress?
Stress simply means physical and emotional tiredness that leads to tension in the body, this is a sign that shows the body when to stop and rehydrate before moving forward.
When someone is stressed he or she can never be able to cope with any challenges that comes around both mentally, emotionally, physically and otherwise.
Stress can make a person to be aggressive, violent and abusive if not put into controll, stress can even result to death at the cause of this discussion we will know how possible that is.
What situations or conditions cause stress?
Honestly the main causes of stress is the stream of time humans are living in, the bible says that we are living in the last days, in a world controlled by Satan the devil a demon that never wants to see any human happy as a result most humans are stressed out today.
Some other causes of stress includes things Satans world can offer like
- Emotional problems like depression, anxiety, anger, grief, guilt, low self-esteem
- Death of a loved one
- Facing anxieties of life in at home or workplace.
- Taking care of a sick relative or elderly parents.
- Searching for a new Job.
- Been a victim of rape.
- Natural disasters that can make someone homeless.
All this situation can run the brain down and lead to stress.
Symptoms of stress
- Stress begins with some minor signs like getting tired easily, getting angry easily, been nervous and afraid over less important things.
- In a woman signs of stress includes change in thier menstrual circle date.
- Sweating profusely is another sign of stress.
- High BP, chest pain, heart burn and difficulty in breathing are also signs of stress.
- Insomnia or lack of sleep is also a sign of stress.
Gradually if nothing is done those signs and symptoms will keep on increasing, at some point the person will not enjoy life and will not want to live in some cases it leads to commiting suscide.
What was the most stressful period of your life and how did you overcome it?
When my mother was sick was the most stressful period in my life, at a point I was confused I didn't know what to do again, I felt I was going to loss my lovely mother and as a result I was stressed out and depressed.
- I prayed to God and left everything in his hands, I visited a doctor who gave me counseling and tips of how to improve my life.
- I changed my work and got a new job that gave me more time to rest, and I had more sleeping time.
- I stopped taking calls from 8:pm to 7:am the next day.
- I increased my fruit intake mostly oranges and pineapples.
- I started watching cartoon station, I watched tom and Jerry cartoon most times.
All this tips help me to overcome stress.
