History of Dinajpur
After the last day.
In the history of Dinajpur, today I will mention Balurghat, another favorite city.
The subdivision of the ancient Dinajpur district is Balurghat. Although the name of the pen was named West Dinajpur. But the city is known as Balurghat.
Currently it is divided into two districts.
Modern Balurghat stands on the banks of Atrei river. People in this city are not yet mechanical.
If you talk to people who are filled with sincerity, they are moved to mind. Today, we will write an ancient historic place in Balurghat.
Moitantosh: There are two tomb buried beside the wall alongside it. It can be seen 3 miles southeast of Balurghat city. There is a small stone pillar in the wall of the tomb. There are several lines written in Arabic. But it is not known whether it was possible to recover his lessons. An inscribed brick is seen in the wall of the tomb. There are lots of bricks and stones near the tomb. How many of the stones are Basalt Stone It is assumed that the place was the house of a Hindu king.
The legend is that Ma'i and his daughter Santosh are the two grave of the man who is a man of nature, and the name of the place is Moitantosh. Currently a fakir is supervising the tomb.
