Its a great prompt, providing a lot of fun, and I'm intrested to see all the entries, what other steemians may came up with. For a few days I check slowly my archive, and made this medium-sized selection - trying to get some variety. Of course, I could fill up all of the post with various sorts of kids having winter fun, but that would be too easy xD

What was the last time you played with kite? It is sort of a mesmerizing job. You have to completely rely on such a subtle and shifty substance, as air... and of course, skill and dexterity of one's hands. (I also played here in photoshop with the sunset colours - count that as a bonus).

A puppet master! St.Petersburg is a tourist city, and it has much more than museums and palaces. Walking across the central streets may bring you such a marvelous encounter, as a fire jiggler, street musician playing on a pipe or even piano (!) ... magician... or a traveling puppet master, like in this case. He arranged a wonderful show for the children (whose parents showered him with a lot of small change). Among several dolls that participated in the performance was Gypsy Aza (that’s the one we see in the photo above). After the performance, all children had the opportunity to hug the beloved lady, and they were happy, as if the sky itself had kissed them.

Playing with snow. Snowballs is the easiest and self-obvious winter fun. Of course, it is near impossible when we have winters consisting of rains, mud and slush - anything but a decent snow. Sadly, due to Global Warming, and the always-changeable-weather of my city, the winters I remember become less and less snowy each year...
